THE BIG DAY IS HERE - VOTE UKIP

The big day has arrived, its polling day for the European and local elections and UKIP's chance to create a political earthquake by beating the Labour vote.  If this happens then Prime Minister Gordon Brown is doomed as the Labour leader.

However, as earth shaking as that will be when UKIP storms the polls, even more important will be the message a large vote for UKIP will send to our three Europhile political parties - the Lib, Lab Con, the pro-EU trinity.  These parties that have, over the years ignored the will of the people, will have no choice but to take note that by voting for the UK Independence Party large numbers of people will have voted to leave the EU - this is your chance to do so too.

To ensure they get the message rammed home and shoved up their majorities, VOTE UKIP on the 4th June.  Go to the UKIP web-site for more information and news.

Why? You've only got one policy and your arguments for leaving the EU don't even make sense - too much Daily Mail 'common sense' and no reasoned verifiably researched argument.

Derek, I'm afraid to say your blog doesn't discuss real issues that affect local people.

If UKIP do well in this election it won't be because you've convinced anyone - it will just be a protest vote by those disenchanted with the mainstream parties.

I think people should vote for the individual who has a track record representing the community's diverse range of interests regardless of their party political allegiance.

What have any of the UKIP candidates done for local people?

James asks what has UKIP candidates done for local people?

Here are a few answers. As a local election candidate in the St Matthews ward in Walsall a few year back I helped the local residents with a problem in their area with prostitution. After contacting the police on their behalf they took the matter seriously and began to deal with the problem moving the prostitutes on - the residents were delighted.

In the Paddock ward where I stand most years, which is part of Walsall South where I stand as a Parliamentary candidate for UKIP, I helped a disabled lad to get drops in the curb so that he could cross the road in his electric chair without having to do a major detour - he and his family were pleased too.

Added to that, we have campaigned against post office closure which is a direct result of the EU's Postal Directives, we have campaigned with Mike Nattrass to save Walsall's historic market which Walsall Council was set to destroy and have had a major impact on that. All the market traders are now supporting UKIP.

In recent days Mike Nattrass MEP has been in Walsall again helping residents who are concerned about traffic noise from the M6 with proposed widening plans - the local MP, David Winnick, does not want to know.

Mike has also tried to help small businesses in the West Midlands blighted by EU bureaucracy and red tape, including the chap who was told that his insect traps which only used ground pepper in them, under under EU rules, had to be tested at a cost of thousands of pounds because once the pepper went into the insect trap it became a pesticide!

It goes on and on and we are here to help - and we do where we can. In reality to best way of all to help everyone is to leave the EU and only a vote for UKIP can achieve that.

A vote for the other three parties that want to stay in the EU and are happy to be ruled by it is a wasted vote.

The sooner we get out of the EU and set up a free trade agreement with our European friends [not fellow unionists]; the better. If we are not in the EU for trade advantage; what else is there? It was the EEC [European ECONOMIC Community and now it is a UNION]and even Ted Heath admitted his misled the electorate in the referendum. I would like to see UKIP target gaining MP's aswell as MEP's. People all over this country are deceived as to the 'big 3' role in keeping us in the EU and ensuring that it is never being a major debating point. The EU is a deception in and of itself. Call it the Fourth Reich or the Franco-Germanic vehicle that it is to gain back 'Mary's Dowry'. Derek; keep up the good work. Keith J Sinclair HERESY WATCH [http://kjs-heresywatch.blogspot.com]
